Secret Service Involved in Hunter Biden’s Missing Gun Scandal

Hunter Biden has once again found himself at the center of a scandal. A new report has been released outlining allegations that the Secret Service had to intervene in a firearm-related incident in October 2018.

The incident involves Hunter Biden and Hallie Biden, the wife of Hunter’s deceased brother, Beau Biden. Hunter and Hallie briefly dated after Beau’s death. Hunter later had a child with a stripper while he was living with Hallie.

According to the report, Hallie Biden took Hunter Biden’s gun and threw it in a trash can behind a grocery store. This sparked an investigation from law enforcement officials who were concerned because the trash can was close to a high school. Hallie later came back to retrieve the gun, but discovered it was missing.

“Secret Service agents approached the owner of the store where Hunter bought the gun and asked to take the paperwork involving the sale, according to two people, one of whom has firsthand knowledge of the episode and the other was briefed by a Secret Service agent after the fact,” a Politico report says. “The gun store owner refused to supply the paperwork, suspecting that the Secret Service officers wanted to hide Hunter’s ownership of the missing gun in case it were to be involved in a crime, the two people said. The owner, Ron Palmieri, later turned over the papers to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, which oversees federal gun laws.”

The report also said:

POLITICO obtained copies of the Firearms Transaction Record and a receipt for the gun dated Oct. 12, 2018.

Hunter responded “no” to a question on the transaction record that asks, “Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?” Five years earlier, he had been discharged from the Navy Reserve after testing positive for cocaine, and he and family members have spoken about his history of drug use.

Lying on an ATF Form 4473 is a felony. It can carry a 10-year prison sentence with a $250,000 fine.

When Hallie Biden told Hunter Biden what she did, he told her to retrieve the gun. When she went to take it out of the trash, it was gone. The Delaware State Police and the FBI responded to the scene to investigate and questioned Hunter Biden. A copy of the police report said that Hunter Biden “became very agitated” when law enforcement asked him if the firearm had been used to commit a crime.

When Hunter Biden was asked if he was doing drugs or drinking, he said that Hallie Biden was concerned about him being mentally unstable. He also said that she was concerned that he was going to commit suicide.

The report says that “an older man who regularly rummages through the grocery’s store’s trash to collect recyclable items” found the gun and later returned it.

The White House claims that Biden “did not have any knowledge of, or involvement in, the Secret Service’s alleged role in this incident.”
